How The Claims Process Works

Most homeowners only file a roof claim once or twice in their lives. We do it daily. Here is the step-by-step process we use to protect your interests.

1

Free Inspection

We perform a comprehensive digital inspection to document all storm damage (hail, wind, debris impact).

2

File The Claim

We help you contact your insurance carrier to initiate the claim, providing our inspection report as evidence.

3

Adjuster Meeting

We meet the insurance adjuster at your property to advocate for you and ensure all damage is included.

4

Approval & Build

Once approved, we schedule your installation. We work for the insurance proceeds designed for restoration.

Common Insurance Questions

Will my insurance premiums go up if I file a claim?
Generally, no. Insurance companies typically cannot raise rates for filing a single claim due to "Acts of God" (storm damage). However, rates are often determined by the number of claims in your specific zip code.
Do I need to get three estimates?
No. You only need one estimate from a contractor you trust. Your insurance carrier sets the meaningful price for the roof replacement. If our estimate is higher than theirs, we negotiate the difference directly with them using Xactimate software.
Can you waive my deductible?
No. It is illegal for a contractor to pay, waive, or rebate your insurance deductible in many states, including Georgia. Beware of any contractor who offers to do this, as they are likely cutting corners or committing insurance fraud.
What if the insurance estimate is lower than the cost to replace the roof?
This is common. We work with your insurance company to supplement the claim. We provide photos and code requirement documentation to justify the additional costs needed to restore your home properly.
