Project Challenge

Occupied office building with sensitive IT infrastructure directly below the roof deck. HVAC rooftop units required careful detailing and temporary weather-in procedures to prevent water intrusion during installation.

Our Solution

Installed GAF EverGuard 60-mil fully adhered TPO membrane with new polyiso insulation for enhanced R-value. Custom metal coping at all parapet walls. Every rooftop penetration was detailed with pre-fabricated TPO boots and field-welded flashings. Temporary weather-in applied each evening.

Final Result

Documented installation with zero disruption to office tenants or IT systems. High-reflectance white TPO membrane significantly reduces surface temperatures compared to dark asphalt surfaces, mitigating rooftop heat gain. Eligible for GAF 20-Year NDL manufacturer warranty protection with Capital City Roofing workmanship coverage.
